We are seeking a band 5 equivalent therapist to join our well-established and hugely supportive team of 14 speech and language therapists and 2 speech and language therapy assistants. You will be working in a range of mainstream and specialist educational settings, and in our Total Communication Day Opportunity for adults with intellectual disability and autistic adults. You will work alongside lead therapists in schools throughout the week, as well as having the opportunity to work autonomously. You will work within our highly skilled team of Communication Facilitators within our Day Opportunity during the school holidays. We have a very high staff retention rate and are passionate about supporting therapists to develop their career within our team. We have supported some members of the speech and language therapy team to become sensory integration practitioners, to publish a resource, and to gain a PhD.
We offer a competitive salary for newly qualified therapists, or those seeking a band 5 development role. Our pay scale includes incremental points and is reviewed on an annual basis. We also have access to an employee assistance programme which offers a range of support for employees.
